My Watermark is Lake Ontario.

We took Waterkeeper's boat, the Angus Bruce, out the day that Loren King was completing his swim across Lake Ontario. Our boat had been fussy all summer, but suddenly it was running smoothly. There was almost no wind and the sun was shining. Lake Ontario was as flat and as calm as glass. We found Loren about 10 km offshore from Toronto and it was *magical*. We cut our motor to watch him swim, one stroke at a time. With no wind, it was so incredibly quiet out on the lake. It was one of the most peaceful things I've seen on these lakes.
