When I was younger the beach in Cobourg was my safe haven and my reflective spot, I was always able to calm down and thing clearly. My family would always spend time at the beach and watch me swim. I later grew up to lifegaurd and teach in that same beach, and pass on what I learned to others. That always makes me very grateful for any and all bodies of water, everything is so precious and we have to protect that.
