My Watermark is a creek near Rice Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota.

I don’t even know what the name of the waterbody is, it was a river, a very small river in Brainerd Minnesota. I was on an organized bike ride and it was a wet morning they took us through this little park and it was a gravel road, then it went up over a wooden bridge. The wooden bridge was slippery, I skidded out, I knew I was going down and the next thing I knew I was swimming in the water. My bike hit the rail and it just kind of sat on the rail and I flipped over the handle bars over the railing of the bridge and I ended up swimming in the water. I managed to climb out safely, thank goodness I had my helmet on and that’s my water story.
