I love going to the great lakes to go boating with my family. I remember this one time last year when I went to Lake Huron for the whole day. My sister just got her boating license so she was mostly driving the boat instead of my mom. After a while, my sister stopped the boat and put the anchor down so we wouldn't drift. We ate some snacks like chips, fruit, and veggies. After that my mom got the tube out and started to blow it up. My family made up this game that we've been playing for a couple of years. The game goes whoever is on the tube has to try to stay on the tube. Who's driving the boat has to try and get the person off. There's also a 5-10 time limit. My brother and sister wanted to go first for tubing so my mom was driving the boat. I was beside her watching my siblings just in case they fell off and I was watching their hand signals in case they wanted to slow down, speed up or stop. About 5 minutes passed my brother was holding on for life a little bit after he fell off. So my mom won that round. By then it was my turn to go to the tube. I was a little nervous because my sister was going to drive the boat. She will do anything to get me off. She was doing so many turns so I would fall off but it didn't work. After 10 minutes passed, I was still on which means I won. After a couple more rounds of the game, we stopped playing and just swam around. It was probably 4 or so. Everyone just chilled and tanned for an hour and a half. It was 5:30 so my mom got dinner ready and we had chicken caesar wraps on the boat. After everyone was done dinner we got ready to head back to the docks to go back home. This watermark is really important to me because it's a memory I won't forget of spending time with my family. This is why I feel connected to Lake Huron.
