Gulf of Paria, Trinidad and Tobago - Tara Seucharan
I grew up by the Gulf of Paria. It’s just west of Trinidad in the Caribbean.
It’s an important body of water to me because I grew up in San Fernando which is right on the Gulf of Paria. It’s the body of water that separates Venezuela from Trinidad. You can see full sunsets and it’s only 12 miles from Venezuela. When you look out to the horizon you can see Venezuela far in the distance. It is very scenic, very ideal, there are fisher-people, there are beaches. It's gorgeous. And I love it.
