My Watermark is Georgian Bay near Wasaga Beach, Ontario.

I manage Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. I am the park superintendent. For the past 9 years, I have had nesting piping plovers on beach area 1 in the provincial park. This is the most busy beach area and it has been an interesting challenge closing down a section of this beach area for this nesting endangered species. I am convinced that the plovers were intentional in selecting this busy site as it has taught many people about the plight of species- at- risk.
