Sauble Beach, ON - Joseph Gentile

My Watermark is Sauble Beach on Lake Huron, Ontario.

My family and I have been vacationing on the relic sandy shores of Sauble Beach, Ontario for many years. As a child, I enjoyed the family activities and array of fun festivals and events Sauble Beach hosted annually. Today, I enjoy Sauble Beach because of its natural beauty and incapability to compare to any other shoreline in the world. Sauble's uniqueness captures the hearts of many, and is a home to an abundance of wildlife.

The surrounding area of the Bruce Peninsula is teaming with life, (both aquatic and terrestrial) which contributes to its high level of biodiversity. The area also boasts some of the most beautiful and breathtaking landforms in south-western Ontario, Canada. Sauble Beach is more than just 'a beach' to me -- it is truly a one-of-a-kind ecological system. It is system through which humans and wildlife species co-exist, and I would not have it any other way.

In conclusion, I am ever so proud of this area of which I will cherish forever, the fresh body of water — Lake Huron, and the memories created because of them.
