My Watermark is the North Saskatchewan River, Alberta.

My connection with the river is that I am an avid Dragon Boater. I paddle on the river three times a week with Breast Friends Dragon Boat Racing Team. We are a team of breast cancer survivors and I love it. I've been doing it for 10 years and there's nothing like it. It's different seeing the river on the river, as opposed to standing on the banks and looking out. I love it.

I've also canoed on it. I took a voyageur canoe one day from the Genesee Plant down to Devon and we capsized! So I've actually been in the river, but anyway, we got rescued and everything was good. We've got the most beautiful river valley in North America. I think it should be enjoyed by everybody. We need to keep it clean so that we can enjoy it for years to come. It's beautiful, I love it.
