The Waterkeeper Gala Toronto is the biggest night of the year for water in Toronto! This annual event is attended by leaders from the worlds of art, business, sport, and entertainment. Past hosts and attendees include Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip, photographer Edward Burtynsky, environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., writer Joseph Boyden, and entertainers Leslie Feist, Sarah Harmer, Scott Thompson.The 2015 event featured Wade Davis, the renowned National Geographic explorer-in-residence, anthropologist, and writer. Proceeds from the gala support Waterkeeper's work for swimmable, drinkable, fishable water.
