I have been at a small cabin at the narrows between the two lakes for 53 years (since I was 3 years old). These lakes are part of a private park that aims to preserve these and several other lakes and surrounding forests at the top of a watershed. My parents and I have planted trees and preserved them on our 1/2 acre of land. Because of my experiences I studied Environment and Resource Studies at University of Waterloo and work in the environmental planning and policy fields.
