Grand Bend Beach

When I was young at the beach, I remember running into the rushing water with my three older sisters. We would always squeal once the cold water hit our feet, and then screamed whenever we got slapped by waves. I remember jumping on, into, and around my sisters until we got tired. While the sun was setting quicker, and the water was getting colder, we continued to play around in the water, looking like idiots.

When I was young at the beach, I remember tasting the salty water of the ocean, and the delicious feeling of the fries that my mom made, on my tongue. I heard chitter chatter and laughs come out of everybody’s mouth, taking in the moment to appreciate everyone and everything around me. While everyone was telling stories and memories that they made there, I remember wishing to stay in that moment forever.

When I was young at the beach, I remember admiring every spark, every shimmer, and every light that glowed atop the calm water of the lake. The rays of sun beamed against my skin, while I walked towards the shore, with my feet deep in the sand. The feel of the cold, squishy, and soft sand on my feet. I remember the feeling of the warm atmosphere, as it wrapped itself around me, and feeling comfortable, lively, and free.

At the beach, I remember the feeling of happiness, as I breathed in the fresh air all over me. Seeing my family talk, and laugh, and play around with each other as if it was the last time they ever would. I think they appreciated this time as much as I did. I remember loving every second of it, and I would love to go back and experience it all over again.
