Gulf of St. Lawrence, PEI - Scarlett M.
It was around ten am on a Tuesday morning when I begging my sister to go to the beach. She was VERY hesitant at first then finally gave in at around eleven. We put on our water shoes and bright bathing suits (mine being purple and hers being blue) and we headed down the sandy stairs to the Blooming Point Beach in Prince Edward Island.
We had been on vacation for around a week at that point and had gone to that same beach almost everyday. But today, today was the day that stood out. We walked along the beach to just where the water hit the sand. We looked out to the deep, far, endless sea and suddenly it started to rain.
Now, many would be concerned by this rain but I felt this rain was special; it was beautiful. The water perfectly plopped down into the ocean. The sun was still out and it was shining bright as can be. The water was peaceful and although it was pouring, it was still very quiet.
That night, all my sister and I could talk about was how beautiful that rain had been. That rain was so peaceful and beautiful and that is why I like the beach.
