When I was young, at the lake, I would swim in the huge blue lake while looking at all the trees. I would swim right next to my cottage. There were a lot of cottages on Kennisis With lots of nature around. I always loved to enjoy family at the lake. It was always a good time.

When I was young at the lake, I would hear the loud crunchy sounds of the waves hitting the rocks. As I walked to the water, I would hear bugs swarming around me and that would make me twitch because I hate the sounds of bugs flying around me, but I got used to them pretty quick

When I was young, It made me happy to drive 7 hours up north to my cottage. I love to think about the time we forgot the key and I had to climb through a window to get in the cottage to unlock the door so my brother and parents could get in. That was one of the best memories at Kennisis lake.

At the lake, I always went on my dad’s boat and went to different parts of the lake to look around and relax. We would always go to the marina, it’s a place where you can put gas in your boat. They also had ice cream and I still remember the chocolate soft ice cream flavour to this day. I recently went up to the lake this summer and as always it was a great time. I hope to my make more memories at Kennisis lake.
