For several weeks during 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic kept me inside and away from friends and family. As time passed, gathering restrictions and general fears were alleviated. One day, several friends and I took a trip to Rawdon, Nova Scotia to visit Glen Brook Falls; this is a swimming location we had visited many years prior. Much has changed in all of our lives since then, but being back at Glen Brook Falls reminded me of a more pleasant time. Even though pandemic protocols would still be a factor in our lives, it was nice to forget about them for an afternoon.
