My name is Sam Beesley and I am originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Growing up on the Atlantic Ocean, I have a lot of great memories and connections with water, but one in particular is from biking the Salt Marsh Trail. Biking with my Dad, there was water on either sides of a trail and we saw seals, horses, different types of birds, bunnies, and people surfing. It was a great reminder of our connection with nature and the diverse ecosystem that we live in.
