Georgian Bay, ON - Owen S.
Georgian Bay in Collingwood is a great place for my grandma and I to go every summer. We have a cottage, right on the water. The Bay is an important body of water to me, because once every summer for about a week or so, we go and stay. If we are fortunate, some swans or ducks come along, and we get to feed them corn. Our shore line has massive rocks that we can climb on. If the water is hot enough, then we can go swimming in the bay, which is amazing. It is really fun to swim when the waves are enormous and crash into you. The waves also crash into the rocks in front of our cottage, and collide and sail up into the air. Sometimes, if we are lucky, we go to our neighbour’s dock and jump into the water. One thing that I noticed is that the water levels are rising every summer I visit. I hope I can make more memories every summer when I go to my cottage on Georgain Bay.
