My Watermark is Bowron Lake, BC.

Earlier this year I canoed the Bowron lake circuit up in the Cariboos. It's really so much better than doing a hike! The lakes are kept totally clean and pollution free; there are no motorized boats allowed on any of the lakes up there. There aren't too many lakes that enforce that rule, but it was really nice not to hear any noise the whole time. It's completely serene and gives you so much time to think.

I do a lot of paddling, but I think that's got to be the best loop in the province. There is so much amazing scenery, and the lakes are spectacular, if not cold. It's so refreshing to get up and out there for an extended period of time.
