Elbow Lake, ON - Caden B
My Watermark is Elbow Lake, Ontario.
When is was young at the lake I would smell the barbecue cooking the burgers, hot dogs, and chicken. I would see all of my family that I only see about once or twice a year. I would always go because we went to the lake to celebrate my great-aunt Lil's birthday. She owns the lake and lives there in the summer with her close family.
When I was young at the lake, I would hop in my cousin's boat and we would go fishing for about an hour. I would also go fishing off the dock for at least 5 or 6 hours a day and caught pickerel and sunfish and bass. I would go swimming in the lake and after to warm up I would go in the sauna. Then I would go to eat dinner with the whole family.
When I was young at the lake I would go down the hill and play bocce ball and soccer and tag with my cousins. We would have so much fun we would not realize what time it was until they would tell us to go for dinner up the hill. I would eat until I was, but i always had room for cake.
Across the water, there was a train track. The trains that passed by were so loud it would wake up the moon. It would always wake us up in the morning and then we would have pancakes. I wanted to stay there all my life. It's such a great place, I love Elbow Lake, the lake shaped like an elbow in Sudbury.
