My Watermark is Lake Huron, Ontario.

As a young boy growing up in Stratford, Ontario getting to a large body of water didn't happen often. Maybe once a year if we were lucky we'd go to Grand Bend. To this day, I can remember first time seeing Lake Huron from Highway 83. Wow, look at all that water! I just couldn't get over it.

Fortunately I was able relive that moment of awe through the eyes visitors from Europe this past summer. Having never seen the Great Lakes before, we took them on our boat down the Niagara River and into Lake Ontario. They were speechless. They simply couldn't get over the vastness of this lake. They insisted on going for a swim despite the chilly water. It was a highlight of their trip.
