Ausable River, ON - Jayson B
My watermark is the Ausable River.
When I was young at the Ausable River cut I would walk 500 meters away from the river to get a canoe. Then I would have to carry the canoe with three other people all the way to the river. Then I had to go back and get a new canoe.
When I was young at the Ausable River cut, I would go canoeing with Cubs and Scouts. We went to a beach on the shore of the river. We had to pack a lunch and we ate it on the beach. I had a yummy sandwich and a big muffin. I loved that day canoeing down the river.
When I was young at the Ausable river cut, I would canoe down the river. My canoeing partner and I would talk and have fun. I was a Scout when I went to the river. My canoeing partner and I loved the river. My canoeing partner and I would paddle on different sides of the canoe and then when one of our hands got tired we would switch sides or one of us would have a break of paddling. I loved canoeing that day.
I made very amazing memories that day at the river, we were at Scouts Canada's camp Attawandaron that day. Me and my group of Cub Scouts and Scouts canoed all the way about a kilometre to a small beach where we had lunch and explored. We did’nt have a lot of time to explore because a leader checked the weather and there was rain on the way and canoeing in the rain is not fun. We left for the camp. There was so much nature along the Ausable river. I love the Ausable river.
