This summer, my best friend and I went to White Pine Beach with my family, where we swam in Sasamat Lake for hours and went paddling on an inflatable raft. It's one of those experiences where I look back and it was just a special day—I was happy that day, and I felt connected to the environment, the water, and the people around me.
