It was August 2015 and my family and I were at the beach in Siesta Key, Florida. I had decided to go swimming with my family in the ocean. When I got back I had already been soaked by the surf and waves, so I sat there in the sand, drying off. After about three minutes, I felt like someone was watching me so I turned around to look for someone but I didn’t see anybody. Then I felt it again. So I made a darting glance toward a hole and my sister saw little, pink, eyestalks. We then realized it was a little crab in a hole, looking at us. It was so funny that we tried to look back at it when it looked at us. This place should be protected because of the diverse and beautiful wildlife there. This is my Watermark.
