When I was about 6 or 7, my family and I went to the BVI’s - that is the British Virgin Islands. My parents decided that we would go snorkeling. I didn’t really want to but I’m very glad I agreed to it in the end. Snorkeling in the BVI’s was such a cool experience. I saw some really cool animals. I saw lots of different types of fish. I remember looking down and seeing all of the colorful coral; they were so beautiful. I swam around for a little bit amazed by all of the creatures I saw, but the animal that stuck out to me most was the brown trumpet fish I saw.

I thought it was so cool to have seen that type of fish! I remember being so excited about it. I talked about the trumpet fish for days, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
