Lake Huron, ON - Ethan C
When I was young at the lake, I would spend hours looking for cool rocks, I would swim in the water, but get out quickly after realizing it was so cold.
There was a shipwreck you could see poking up a bit far out into the lake, I would always wonder what it looked like up close, one time in the winter when the whole lake froze over, me and my family walked across for a while, I tried to get the the shipwreck, but the ice thinned out too much near it.
When I was young at the lake, I would walk on the sand of the beach, we would dig holes and find water underground, my family would bury me with sand, I felt strong breaking out of it.
I would watch people play fetch with their dogs or go swimming with them, and then go home and wish I had a dog, but we already had a cat who wanted all the attention to himself.
My family would go out onto the pier where people fish to watch the sunset, such a beautiful thing, my dad sometimes climbed down the ladder at the end and hid so my mom would think he fell in. We would stay in a cottage near the lake overnight, there was a giant spider who had made his web near the door, we would always take good care not to walk into it.
