Lake Huron, ON - Matthew W
My watermark is Lake Huron.
When I was young at Lake Huron, I would look as far as I could see through the lake and wonder how far it went. I would build a giant sand castle, dig a big hole and go fishing with my sister before I started to swim. I would build my sand castle so strong and so big that the nothing could break it.
When I was young at Lake Huron, I would have a mud fight with my brothers then would wash off before I took a family picture. I would go in the water and float around like drifting boat. I would feed all the lonely seagulls, search for the coolest rocks and try to catch the little fish with my hands. I would stick my cheesy hands from all the Cheetos I ate and put them in the water. I would let the little fish eat off my hands because it felt weird.
When I was young at Lake Huron, I would eat my favourite sandwiches and would play football in the water then would wait for the sun to set. I would bury myself in the wet sand, wrap myself in the biggest seaweed and would take lots cool of pictures with my family. Sometime it would rain and I would get the chills throughout.
At Lake Huron, I would skip rock with my brothers and see how many skips I would get. I would get my sister to teach me how to do flips in the water but I always got water in my nose. I would admire the stars in the sky when it got dark. Lake Huron were some of the greatest highlights throughout of my lifeā¦
And they always will be.
