My watermark is Big Rideau Lake, Ontario.

I grew up on this lake - I spent every spring to fall at our cottage on the lake learning how to swim, fish, and boat on the waters, as well as learning about the surrounding ecosystem and seasonal cycles (of both plants and wildlife) from parents, neighbours, and local provincial parks. There's incredible history on these waters and most importantly, my years on the Big Rideau Lake continue as my benchmark for community, family, and ultimately, home.
