My Watermark is Halifax Harbour, Nova Scotia.

Our Halifax Harbour is truly the source of my pride as a citizen of this vibrant and historic coastal port city of Halifax. Though it is an industrial port, I often boast to newcomers and locals alike about the many amazing marine creatures who visit us in these waters. We have all, at least once, taken solace from our harbour waters as we walk, jog, or boat along its shores. We have all stopped to appreciate the way the sun kisses these waking waters good-night with soft, warm colours.

Though the harbour has been significantly cleaned up over the years, we have to continue to push-on and ensure the harbour is healthy and clean enough to sustain more whimsical visits from belugas and whales and sharks and turtles, and to ensure it continues to be the same source of comfort for the next generation as it has to mine. That is why I believe in #RAH2050 (www.rah2050.org).
