My Watermark is Desolation Sound, BC.

From my childhood, Desolation Sound has been a place of exploration, beauty, joy and peace. My youth in Desolation Sound consisted of sailing, camping, and fishing in the summer months. Now I have the pleasure of spending my summers out on the waters once more as a sea kayak guide, exposing guests from around the world to the same beauty I saw in my youth.

I have so many unforgettable memories of this waterbody, but I'll never forget the first time I saw a pod of orcas surface near our sailboat during one particular trip. Indeed, the adventures in Desolation Sound never cease, and new experiences and encounters will forever create new memories that will surely last a lifetime.
