This waterbody has been a part of my life for many years. In this specific case I remember swimming in the lake when suddenly an osprey swooped down and grabbed a fish. The osprey flew off with the fish grasped in its talons but I could not help but think how interconnected this waterbody was with the surrounding ecosystem and how all through my childhood I had taken this for granted.
