Pine Lake is specifically important to me because I spent most of my summers at my cottage throughout my life, located on Pine Lake. My love for sustainability and environmentalism stemmed from the connection I felt to nature and water from my cottage. I care about the water quality because I care about the ecosystem, my family drinks and spends time in the water, and I want it to be safe for generations to come!
