My Watermark is the Toronto Harbour of Lake Ontario.

I was looking forward to a summer swim in the lake with my friends. We jumped into the lake from some low rocks by the shore. the water felt nice to the skin, but when I accidentally took in a mouthful it was silty and thick feeling. A week later I developed an infection in my throat and required penicillin to treat it. I've never really wanted to swim in Lake Ontario again.
