My Watermark is Seymour River, British Columbia.

Having grown up in North Vancouver I have always felt a connection to the Seymour, Lynn and Capilano rivers and the animals and plants which require them to live. As a child I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the salmon cycles in our local waters which shaped my love of marine biology.

Salmon connects me to the water and seeing dwindling salmon runs over my lifetime made me realize that this keystone species requires greater protection in our watersheds, so future generations can be inspired by them too.
