I live on Williams Lake (which drains into the Halifax Harbour). Breakdown of a dam system has led to a marked lowering of the water level threatening lake integrity. Loons call at night, Halifax families and individuals come out to swim, but water levels at an all time low are also at risk of development that will affect bird life.
