This happened in summer 2007. The coaster brook trout population in Lake Superior is an amazing natural resource unique to our Great Lake. We were looking for spawning brook trout to tag for a population study and found a pool in the Cypress River that was loaded with the most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen.

It was a truly amazing site and it is something that you won’t find on any other Great Lake. It was one of the greatest parts of my life that I know I will never forget.
