I'm a nervous swimmer. I've been shy about swimming because of my limited swimming abilities for most of my adult life. When visiting St. Maarten with a friend, he encouraged me to enjoy the water and the enormous waves that were hitting the beach. We spent the next hour jumping waves and squealing like small children. Best water experience ever!
