Flathead Lake, USA - Stephan Joyu
My Watermark is Flathead Lake, Montana.
In 2014, I went to the state of Montana, for the first time. It is a very sparsely populated state in the United States, with a very small population. While I was there, I went fly fishing, also for the first time. It was on a body of water called, Flathead River. This river ran through some of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen in my life. I was gliding on the water, floating on this little boat, in the middle of now-where, and it was beautiful! There were eagles flying overhead, which is the national bird of my country. Then, I caught my first fish, fly fishing. I was there for about five hours and we had lunch on the river banks. It was probably my best water experience ever!
I always loved the big lake and large open waters, because there was a sense of peacefulness. Since I’ve lived in big cities for most of my life, when I go to an open water, it makes me feel very calm and peaceful.
