My Watermark is the Picklejar Lakes, Alberta.

I have had the wonderful experience of living near Kananaskis Country for several years while living in Calgary. As such, I spent much of my free time exploring and appreciating the natural wonders of the area. One of my most favorite spots in the area is Picklejar Lakes - a cluster of lakes all nestled in an amazingly picturesque valley. It is a back country area and the hike to the lakes is well worth the effort. Aside from the scenery, I always looked forward to fishing these lakes and some of my most memorable fishing stories have been made from my hikes to these lakes.
