My Watermark is the Fraser River, BC.

It pretty much shaped me into the man I am today.It’s important to me because I’ve swam the length of the Fraser River twice. And a lot of the work I’m doing today now focuses on the Fraser River.

I remember one time I was on a very high knoll in the middle of the Fraser River. And I could look up river as far as it could go, and I could look down river as far as it could go. And it was in that moment standing atop the knoll looking at the river, that I knew that it was my job to protect the river. So in turn it became my life's work to help preserve and protect the Fraser River.
