In August 2016, I was part of a small group of canoe and nature enthusiasts who paddled the Nahanni River, in the Nahanni National Park Reserve, from Nailicho (Virginia Falls) to Nahanni Butte.

The staggering beauty of this region is breath taking and unforgettable, and the Nahanni River is an amazing and magical waterway. This national treasure needs all the protection we can give it.
