Toronto Harbour, ON - Amber Grant
My Watermark is the Toronto Harbour of Lake Ontario.
My Toronto Harbour story is my first time in Lake Ontario when I was 14 years old. I didn’t grow up in Toronto, I grew up just outside of Toronto.
So my brother is a water-enthusiast and loves doing anything with water. He actually took me sea-dooing on Lake Ontario about 5 days before hurricane Katrina rolled in. Which was totally gnarly because the waves were huge. It was my first time being on Lake Ontario and experiencing those waves.
I have now lived in Toronto for the past six years, and every year me and my friends go to Hanlan’s Point. In the summertime it’s one of the most inclusive places for people in Toronto. It’s also a great spot and beach for people to go and hang out and go swimming when it get’s warmer.
