My Watermark is Lake Erie, Ontario.

Lake Erie is important to me because it's a place I used to sail.

One memory in particular I have is sailing from Erie, Pennsylvania to Port Dover. We had just gotten along Long Point when a storm blew in. We were tearing down the sails down to have bare poles to slow down our speed. Eventually, the storm blew through and so we sailed back into Port Dover hooting and hollering like drunk sailors.
